Hey Guys,
I just got a New 07 Altima, and the dash kit has finally been released so I am getting ready to wire the car up. I have always had a 4 speaker, 2 sub set up, but now in this Altima I have space for 8 speakers. To be honest, I truly do not know how to wire up 8 speakers. Here is a list of the gear that I already have:
HU: Pioneer DEH-P980BT (typical 4x22rms, 3 sets of Preouts)
Front Speakers: Infinity 5.25" Components
Rear Speakers: Infinity 6.5" Components
Subs: Infinity Perfect 10d's
Sub Amp: AudioBahn
4CH Speaker Amp: AudioBahn
Now as I mentioned the Altima has room for 4 more speakers. I can fit 3.5" in the dash board (in fact there are already speakers there) and I can fit an additional pair of 6.5" speakers in the rear doors. What I would like to do it keep everything that I have, the way I have it listed, and then for the Dash get some Decent 2 ways (Infinity or BA) and then for the rear doors I would like to install some Mid-Bass Speakers for some added mid level lows. So how would I go about doing this? The only thing that I can expect to power off of the deck itself is the dash speakers, anything else would be too low RMS wise to power them correctly. So do I need an addition AMP or a new 6CH Amp (Front, Rear, Midbass)?
I'm kinda lost, or overthinking this any help would be great.
Thanks!
Todd

I would wire the 4 channels from the deck to the tweeters (make sure they have passive high pass filters on them) and run the 4 midwoofers to the 4 channel amp. That's me, though.

I don't have 4 tweeters, only 2, and 6 speakers (2 sets of components, and 1 set of midbass)
I found a few amps with 5 channels, I think that may be my best bet. I could run the 4 components off of the 4 normal 80x4 watts RMS channels, and the midbass off of of the 5th channel at 130rms.
