speakers making noise, converter

after i installed my output converter to the back speakers...everytime i turn it up and when the bass kicks, it makes a "CLICK" sound..only when the bass kicks..?????

Sounds like you are over-driving your speakers.  Either too much power or they need a high-pass filter.  Or both.

If you do use a hi-pass filter (i.e. a "bass-blocker") be sure you install it AFTER the connection point where you tapped the wires for your LOC. If you tapped the LOC behind the deck, you're pretty safe, you can then put the bass-blockers anywhere in the line, but right at the speaker is generally best. I just wanted you to be aware of that.

     Does your vehicle have a trunk? are your rear speakers mounted in the rear deck?

Wouldn't FMODS be better? This way the amp is only amplifying bass freq's, saving power. Right?
