I have a 04 ford F150 with tow package. I have learned that I have a 110amp alternator, and I have no idea if it is at idle or at some certain RPM. I am pretty sure I need 192amps to run my equipment (added amp fuses @ 130amps + head unit @ 15amps + added equipment fuses @ 17amps + average vehicle draw @ 30amps = 192amps), so that leaves me 91amps short. I am now shopping for a high output alternator and I found one on Ebay that states that they are selling a 200+ high output alternator but the output at idle is 105 amps, and that the maximum output of 200+ amps is achieved at 1200 engine RPMs. Would this be a sufficient alternator? Or should I shop somewhere else. I am concerned about this alternator being only 105 amps at idle where I need 192 amps to operate. At idle do high output alternators operate at lower amp as specified?

You're not going to find a 200A @ idle alternator, not for any kind of cheap money...
90% of your listening is probably above 1200 RPM anyway, so go with the one you found on FleaBay. Be careful, tho...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
