bridged and stereo on same channels?

Hi all,
I'm obviously new here (but not to audio in general) and have searched a number of different sites without luck. You guys all seem to know what you are doing, so I'm hopeful I can get some good advice :)
My stock stereo (a DSP unit in a 2002 BMW M5) only allows room for a single amplifier. Clearly I could add a 2nd somewhere, but I prefer not to since I want to maintain the stock look.
My proposed stereo is comprised of: a single MTX TA3404 (50x4 @ 4, 200x2 bridged @ 2), 2 pairs of MB Quart 5 1/4 separates (4 ohm), 2 MTX T5510-44 10" DVC 4ohm subwoofers (each wired in parallel to present a 2 ohm load).
What i would like to do is power the MB's off each channel of the amp and simultaneously bridge 1/2 and 3/4 to power the subwoofers with a 100Hz crossover point between them.
My proposed wiring includes wiring a MB crossover in parallel with a 400 microfarad cap to channel 1 as well as another to channel 2. In addition, I would also use the Channel 1 + and the Channel 2 - (ie. bridged mode) to wire a subwoofer in series with a 6.3 millihenry inductor.
As I logic it (and recall from the "old days") this would present the amp with a 4 ohm load per channel above 100Hz and a bridged 2 ohm load below 100Hz.
So, my questions are:
1. Will this work as stated?
2. Would it work if I switched to a SVC subwoofer so the amp saw 4 ohm per channel above 100Hz and 4 ohm bridged below 100 Hz?
3. Does the new technology simply no longer support this type of wiring?

Whoops, sorry, quick correction. I just read the specs again and I would be using 2 T5510-04 SVC 4 ohm subwoofers. I'll restate the whole post with corrections highlighted:

Yes,it will work, it is called "tri-mode". I've seen it done many times! Your bass will fade with either front or rear, and you will lose as much as 6dB in that process, but if you are OK with that, then you can do exactly what you are suggesting with no issues.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
