Amp should be under your center console. After market amp would be expensive. Why don't you just put a toggle switch on your fused wire?

I am not looking for a free installation, but I was hoping for a solution, if I put a toggel switch on do I have to flip it on and off each time I want to use the head unit??  if I bypass the amp will I still have good sound from the system??

No' the factory HU doesn't nearly have enough power. It would either have to be an aftermarket HU bypassing the amp or an aftermarket amp and an LOC. Outputs on the factory amp will standard GM colors.

Yes Pioneer should have enough but without another amp the factory woofer will not work.
