I have a customer with a 1996 Sebring Convt who has no front sound in the car. The front 6x9mids in the doors and the tweeters on the dash seem to be dead, I was wondering where the factory amp is located and also, does the factory amp accept speaker level input because they were also talking about swapping out the radio...Please let me know what info you have on this platform, thank you

Yes the factory amp is speaker level input. Check and see if your turn on lead is good, it should be dark green ,all the way on the end of the speaker plug ( car side)
There is no such thing as free installation!

Metra 701818, you'll have better volume control and if the deck has sub preouts you can use the rear speakers as low pass midbass drivers. Amp turn on must also be connected.

So does each speaker have its own amp on it or is there an actual amp mounted somewhere?
