Does anyone know of an amp around $100 which can power two 12's made by memphis.  ar-sw12, 150 watts continuous power each.  Don't want to be short on power if the amp is oversized that is ok.

Thanks

Sal

I can't find any specs on those subs. What impedance are they?

They are pretty old.  They are 2 ohms each.  Thanks

To find a 300 watt rms amp at 1 ohm or 4 ohm bridged/mono is going to be hard for under $100 unless you buy used off e-bay.

Lastly, is it a major concern to get an amp with a fan built in, some have them other don't.    The amp will be in the trunk of my car.

I was looking at this amp

eBay links don't work, here, but I'd recommend you ABSOLUTELY stay away from Soundstorm... Nowhere NEAR the claimed rating...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
