I have front components rated at  2ohms 90wrms , rear 2 ways rated at 2ohm 60wrms and an 8" sub rated at 4ohm 100wrms  and I want to run them on the eclipse XA5000.

  • 5-Channel Class D ICEpower Technology Amplifier plus Subsonic Filter with controls for level, crossover, low frequency boost and high/low pass filter adjustments.
  • RMS Power Output
    • 4 ohms: 50 watts x 4 chan. + 300 x 1 chan.
    • 2 ohms: 75 watts x 4 chan. + 450 watts x 1 chan.
    • Bridged, 4 ohms: 150 watts x 2 chan.
  • Can I run my sub on Ch5 with the gain turned down?

Yes you definitely can. A great choice of amplifier as well.

Just got in from work and saw your reply, Thank you so much. I really wanted this ,but every one else seemed to keep lining me up with my sub's rms. No head room, less current efficient, etc. Granted I'm not doing any big boom, boomin but I wanted to do the get one and get the right one the first time thing. Anything hooked to the possible configurations of this would make this old girls eyes rattle!

    Thanks again
