For anyone who owns a alpine amp. When you turn the Input gain down does the sound it get louder or softer. Becuase it gets louder when i turn mine down. I just thought that turning it down would make the sound softer. Or at least thats how all my previous amps have worked.

Counter clockwise should lower the volume.
There is no such thing as free installation!
