2 18'' subs

ok so im thinking about 2 18" subs, but what would I need to run these as far as, new alt? new battery or a second battery? caps? amp(s)?  2 or 0 gauge wiring? please help me out, thanks in advanced

really vague on your details. 18's come with a huge variety of power handling. Pick amps based on the power handling of the subs, and then look at the power you need. To properly power most 18's on the market, you will need a H.O. alternator and extra batteries.
1/o gauge wiring for sure, no caps, look into kinetik and powermaster batteries. I have done many setups with 18's, both for comps and daily.
What subs are you getting??

well actually its not for me, I am going to do an install for a friend of a friend and all I know is thats he has 2 18"s, but im not sure what amp he has and all that. Ive never done an install with this much power, so I wasnt sure what I needed to make it run, thanks for the info. and Im not sure which subs he has yet.
