bandpass vs ported efficiency

I was looking at vented and bandpass enclosure facts on this site when i found some facts that conflicted. The first website says that bandpass is less efficient than bandpass but the second says the opposite.

Anyone want to clear this up for me. The information on the second site is what i always believed to be true.

I think you're right... I was always under the impresion that all bandpass flavors were far more efficient than vented enclosures, also!
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
