I installed a Eclipse avn6600 in my 07 Nissan Altima with a basic audio system but has steering wheel controls for the radio. I want to retain the steering wheel controls so I installed a SWI-ECL but the wiring diagram on the PAC website isn't correct. http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogramming/showstepbystep.asp?RadioGroupPioneer=0&InterfaceChecked=4&mmSearch=Nissan&Submit2=Search+Vehicles&ID=468 is a link to the website. It says to Connect a 150 ohm resistor to pin 16 in the vehicle connector. Connect 47 ohm resistor to pin 6 in the vehicle connector. Connect the free ends of the resistors to the INTERFACE'S White wire. Connect pin 15 in the vehicle connector to Ground. This connector is the radio plug. But I after hooking this up the radio cut out the I tested the wires and piin 15 is a speaker wire and is the incorrect wire. Does anyone have any info on this or a way to test for steering wheel controls?

Thanks

Steve

They are usually accurate with their data.  Are you sure you were looking at the plug as if you were the radio.  What are pins 12 and 13?

The connector is viewed from the pin side not wire side.
