eclipse cd7100/cd7000 owners

I am going to be purchasing a CD7100 from my local dealer shortly and will be looking to utilize the 3-way feature of the CD player. It becomes fixed. That's the very reason I shied away from that model, and went with the 5445. I wasn't going to use the crossovers within the unit, unless I needed to, but when I found out it was going to kill my sub level control, that's what sealed it for me.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

But in 4 way mode it is adjustable correct? Is there maybe an external crossover system that someone would recommend?
