Here is the setup, pioneer 5900, memphis pr1.500d, memphis pr4.50, memphis pr 15's, and 6.5 memphis pr coaxials. I have run two separate 8 guage kits, one for each amp as they were not installed at the same time. 3 sets of rca. Two sets back to the left for the four channel and 1 set back to the left for the bass amp.

Here are the abnormalities.

Any time I hook up more than one pair of RCA cables to the deck, I get an excessive amount of noise out of my four channel. It doesn't matter what pair I choose.

My front left speaker acts like I am putting a battery to it if I short the chassis of the speaker to the chassis of the door. Basicly, apply ground to chassis of the speaker and it goes haywire when its connect and playing through the amp. I guess I forgot to check to see if it does it with the system off

If I wiggle either the antenna or the ground behind the deck, I get a fuzzy crackling through the speakers.

I get noise and alternator whine even if I direct wire the Head unit to the battery.

Putting a filter on the ground of the headunit helps, but does not solve everything.

i am an idiot

Take a short wire and ground it to wherever the radio is grounded.  Touch the other end of that wire to the shield of one of the patch cords.  The shield is the silver part that you can see, when the cable is plugged into the RCA jack.
