I am so lost and have no idea what to do. I have a 1996 Dodge Stratus. The speaker covers and stock deck dont say Infinity so im 99% sure its just a stock system without a factory amp.  I installed my aftermarket stereo (Panasonic CQ-C1335U) the same as I have in 3 other cars and the radio works just fine. However when I plug in my rca's into the back of the deck to run to my amp (TMA 500.1) it turns the back 6x9 speakers (Factory) off and then my subs still dont work! I have power to the amp so I know thats not the issue. I am so lost on whats goin on here, any suggestions would be great!

Did you use a wire harness adapter for the connections to the deck?

What are you using to trigger your amp to turn on?

If there is a dk/grn/red at pin C1-1  This is the factory amp turn on. If it's there..... you have an amp you need to turn on for the factory speakers.

Atre you able to "pop" the rear speakers with a test tone (9v battery to the pos, and neg wires) makes the speakers crackle, or pop.

Yes I purchased a harness

Im using the standard blue wire to trigger my amp on, and it is powering up (the power light on it turns on)

There was no factory amp wire at C1-1 (thanks for showing me where to find it)

And my 6x9s popped with the battery

Anything else to try??
