I'm installing an alpine NVE-851A navigation to my existing DVA9861 & TME-M710 setup.  I have seen a lot of people here say the VSS  is a grey/blk wire in the factory radio harness but I haven't seen any verification of this for my year, is this the same for my year or do I need to look somewhere else, if so does anyone know where, detailed descriptions would be greatly appreciated.  Also I know the navigation will plug into my 6.5" screen without any problem but does anyone know if I can run audio to my head unit, and if so how?  I got the system off ebay and it didnt come with a manual (which I have purchased through pacparts.com, just to impatient to wait for it) and there is a plug on the back that reminds me of AiNet and one that looks like S-video.  I want to gather as much information as I can before I start pulling trim pieces and components.

You should be able to get the VSS wire under the hood at the cruise control on the driver's side inner fender. If the truck doesn't have cruise, the plug should still be there.
