Does anyone know how to disconnect the steering wheel controls on a 2001 Pontiac Aztec radio? The mute is sticking on sometimes & I believe it is due to an intermittent connection in the steering wheel. Also, none of the steering wheel controls to do with the radio, work at all.

Are the steering wheel controls fed into a wire or wires, in back of the radio?

If someone knows how to fix it, I would also like to fix it for the customer.

I don't have the customer's car anymore. I'll get it back & try those 2 wires. I'll let you know if it works. Thanks
