Hey guys,
My friend has a 2002 ford explorer and wants me to help him put a system in his car. He bought an aftermarket headunit, subs, and an amp already. I told him to get a wire harness for the headunit and an amp wiring kit. I havent seen the car in a few months and was wondering if you guys had any tips on hooking it up in a ford explorer.
Thanks.

It's very easy to get through the fire wall. There's a big grommet on the driver side. Run the wire through that big black piece above the engine. If your running 8ga wire you dont even need to tak that whole piece off, just run it right under. It will go through. In ford's i usually put the amps on the driver's side only because that grommet is there. I hope this was helpful if you have any questions go ahead and pm me.
