any knows how to take apart the dash (radio) of a 05 sl65 amg mercedes. and can a parrot ck3100 directly to it, it has standard vw plugs on it. if not can the connection be done before the amp or does it have to be after for the audio.

If you had a pic, I might be able to tell you.

I believe the standard Parrot harness will work...I found this.

hi,

most mercedes these days,  especially higher end models use fiber optics to transmit the audio from headunit, amp, sat radio etc...i think you'd find very little in connections behind the radio...power, ground, data, the previously mentioned fiber optics. you'll probably need to access the amplifier for the speaker interface connections on the parrot kit.

Yes, this is very true^^^. However you still may be able to find mute, and just use a speaker from a nokia or motorola kit.
