I have a 97 sunfire and am just trying to make sure that I do not need a bypass for theft when I install the aftermarket stereo. The sunfire is base model everything.

all you need is a regular walmart special harness, the mouting kit and an antenna adapter to put in an aftermarket deck into your car. you dont have to do that non-sense radio relocation crap that the 03(?) and up suflowers got to do.
