clifford intelliguard 8000

Hey guys i cant get my remote to work on my intelliguard 8000. also when i try to input into the coder the plainview switch doesnt work. both my remotes are not working and i cant get my car started. this is a 01 honda civic ex. is there anyway to reset the alarm to the original settings? please help..

You could have 5 different problems here, on the 4 button "Radar remote" the battery holder needs to be resoldered to the board and the CR2032 battery rerplaced. Replace battery on master remote, antenna may be earlier type and may need replacing, obviously check voltage across main power (5 amp fuse) and ground, make sure there is a definate ign circuit going into alarm, otherwise valet switch won't work,  if all above fails, change valet switch.
