Have 2004-Buick Century, got a ProStart CT-3400-TW remote starter for it,come to find out I need a VATS security module bypass,is the PATSK-600 interface module the way to go,and is there anything else that I need,  do I have to hook up the 2nd ignition wire?

That bypass will work; however you can also bypass it with a relay and resistor if you want to save a few $. Wire the relay as follows:
85-ground when running from your remote start
86-fused 12v + constant power
87-one of the 2 small white VATS wires in the orange or black sheath(don't cut this wire). Measure the resistance from one side of the VATS chip in the key to the other, get a resistor of the same value and put that resistor inline between the relay and this VATS wire.
87a-the other VATS wire. Cut this wire and connect 87a with the side going towards the ignition switch.
30-the cut VATS wire, going away from the ignition switch.
Also, the white 2nd ignition wire is MANDATORY. It powers the transmission electronics and bad things can happen if it doesn't come on at the same time as the pink wire.

If your key has a small chip embedded on the shaft of the key (should be able to see it ) . then it is a vats. You could use patsk-600, but vats is very hard to work with, there are 2 white wires inside a small plastic tube, you have to cut one of them then connect each end to the module. Another option is to get a ads-tbsl-gm which uses data wire on obd2 to bypass. you can get either one from CT.

Just use the green wire of the 6 wire harness (it is programmable either for acc2, ign2 or starter2) for the 2nd ign, at the back of the module, make sure the jumper is in the middle position. Look at the the wiring schematic at the left hand top corner, you can't miss it.

I see it sez 5th relay, does that mean anything, should I just hook the green wire to the other ignition wire on the car,one is pink and the other is white, both ignition. also is there any reason that I have to hook up any of the 12 plug wires.?

5th relay is optional to be used as an ignition, acc or start. Look through the user manual, it will tell you what each jumper postition does. I remember because i did one for my aunt a while back.

No, u don't have to, except #10 which is needed for the bypass module.

interface module buick 2004 cenrtury -- posted image.

It is a bypass module manufactured by Idatalink........ ads-tbsl-gm is bypassing vats only thru data wire at the odb2 diagnostics plug under the dash. If you consider to do the doorlocks, then u should consider ads-tbsl-gm1 which will do vats, doorlocks, arm and disarm thru data wire.

It's an immobilizer bypass...it simplifies installation on several GM cars by connecting to one wire at the diagnostic connector and sending data signals.
