I'm using an Audiovox APS-57 remote start. Everything works fine, except that the CH. 3 output of my unit is only pulsed & not "latching" & the rear hatch in this vehicle needs a longer ground signal. How can I make this pulse longer in duration to enable opening & closing of motorized rear hatch?

Any ideas are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I had that happen to me once too, on the same car. I managed to extend the pulse of the trunk-release output using a few capacitors, but it's been a long time.
So basically, there are two ways to do it:
1. Buy some inexpensive capacitors at Radio Shack or wherever.....I think I ended up using three or four 4700UF capacitors, but I can't remember.
The capacitor has two leads. Connect the long lead to fused, constant power. Connect the other lead onto the car's trunk-release wire, where you already have the blue wire from the APS-57.
Using temporary connections at first, add one capacitor at a time (all in parallel), until you can get the hatch to open.
2. An easier, but amore expensive solution is to buy a pulse timer. It takes the APS-57's wire as in input, and you can adjust the output to be as long as you want. DEI's 528T is a popular model, and I think maybe PAC has something as well.

I am NOT knowledgable on this AT ALL. (nor can I spell) But,  Astro has it listed as a 2500uf polarized cap.
