factory anti theft light staying on

I own a 2001 Nissan Maxima with an AstroStart 5204 (w/ security) and a PKN2 bypasskit.

What happens is I remote start my car - put the key in the ignition - drive - put the vehicle in park - remote start the car to leave it running - take the key out  - then when I return to put my key back in the Factory LED anti-theft light (by the clock) stands on until I shut off the vehicle.  The Astrostart LED is fine.  When I remote start it and drive, the LED is off.

Sorry for the long symptom.  Everything else seems to work, and this has been happening since I had the RC installed, even before the bypasskit.

Try a test. Go thru as you stated above, BUT don't pull the key out of the cylinder. See if the security LED comes on then. If it doesn't try powering up your keysence BLACK/ red @ ign. harness (POS)+

with one of the programable outputs set for ground while running.

The light comes on steady when I take the car out of Park and put it into Drive, then it goes from blinking to off to staying on (takes a few seconds).  Remember this is the second time starting it.  Remote starting while the vehicle is running.  See above.  I believe when I did your test, Nissan factory LED was just blinking.

Also, I dont have anything hooked up to my AstroStarts keysense wire.
