Sup guys I just had a quick question for ya. In the autopage 750lcd installation manual it says to use a diode for the hood pin switch and also for the instant trigger wire. I just need to know what type of diode to use with this application. Thanx doodz! What diode do I use with hood pin autopag -- posted image.

If it's only a grounding activation use a 1N4001 1 amp diode.

you can use a 1 or 2 amp diode. make sure you put the cathode side towards the hood switch.
Good luck,

Just to let ya know, all the autopages that I have done have a BLACK/ white wire on them that have to be grounded if not in use for the remote start to work.
