Putting in an alarm remstart in this vehicle and was wondering what wire I hook up to the unlock detection wire. Do I hook it up to the factory alarm disarm for the alarm brain. Directechs says I need to use it and it will meter ground when the actuator is in the unlock position. I've found the wire just don't know what to hook up to it.

It needs to see two pulses, just like the car's disarm wire, and then the car will unlock.
If your unit can be programmed to do a double pulse disarm, that'd be fine.
If not, split your unlock output with two diodes. Connect those to the disarm wire, and the unlock detection wire. Program for double pulse unlock.
