Ok I have a 1999 Durango with ready remote start system with no transponder system(black key) and I keep having a problem with the factory security going off. I connected the disarm wire to the light GREEN/ orange wire and my customer told me today that the alarm went off and could not start the car. Am I doing anything wrong or is there a way to disarm the security all together.

Where did you get the wire at? It should be at a black plug in the drivers kick panel. What system are you using? You should just hook up the factory alarm disarm wires to the Lt GREEN/ orange wire and be set.

I got the wire from the BCM black plug and just tapped into it.
