Installed an Audiovox 9056 start unit with ASXK532 bypass.  After the factory alarm arms, the unit will fail to start unless I use the factory remote to lock or unlock and "wake up" the BCM first.  Other than that, it works fine.  Tried the Audiovox tech tip of using a relay to ground the violet/brown wire through an 8.5k resistor, but that didn't seem to make a difference.  Any suggestions?

thanks,

the part came out once
therefore it must go back in
where is that hammer

Did you not hook up the OEM alarm disarm wire to the door unlock wire ?

First, are you sure its an 07?  Whats the production date (available on the driver door jamb information plate).  The only problem I have heard of utilizing the XK532 module is a single honk from the factory alarm during remote start.  To fix that problem you can use the disarm pulse thru the 8.5k resistor to solve that.  I would verify that all your wires are working properly.  Does the Durango have an actual starter wire or is it fully bussed?   If its fully bussed you will need to ground the pink wire thru a 1k resistor, or wire it thru a relay.
