As the title says, I've got an Arrow 5 that I'm putting in a Mazda RX7 convertible. I'm waiting for a door actuator to arrive at my local stereo shop to start the install. Using the wiring resources on the12volt I know what I'm doing with most of the wires.

My factory alarm is integrated into the CPU of the car so it can't be removed. I'd like to keep both systems and have them working together. My factory disarm is Light GREEN/ Black(-) and I believe that factory arming wire is GREEN/ red, but I'm not sure if it's positive or negative. The Arrow 5 install manual doesn't have a wire specified for arming and disarming factory alarms. Do I simply use my door actuator wired to my factory disarm/arm?

You need to add an actuator in the driver's door to control the door locks. You need to wire up 2 relays to activate the actuator. All you need to do is split the unlock wire output from your alarm into two branches and isolate the circuits with 2 diodes. One unlock wire goes to one relay to power the actuator and the other to the light GREEN/ black wire in the driver's kick panel. This is the disarm wire and is a negative trigger. The bands of the diodes should face the alarm. Do the same with the lock ouput wire from the alarm. The rearm wire is a GREEN/ black wire in the driver's kick panel. This way the alarm will arm/disarm the factory alarm too.

Thank you for the reply, I'm heading out now to pick up the actuator and the shop should have all the relays and diodes I'll need.
Thanks again

This project has been sitting on the shelf for a little while. A while back I picked up a DEI 524N actuator. I found that my the Arrow 5 was missing the 3 pin door lock harness. Yesterday I picked up a DEI 451M.
One of the things I'm not clear on is if I still need to use 2 relays and diodes in addition to having the 451M?
So far as I can tell from what I've read, to wire in the 451M:
3pin harness = Arrow 5
WHITE/ Black = ground
BROWN / Black = ground
GREEN/ Black = 524N Green
Blue/Black = 524N Blue
PURPLE / Black fused = constant 12v
The rest of the install goes:
Arrow 5 harness:
Ground: Black = ground to the car
Hood/trunk trigger(-): Blue = Grey(-) Trunk pin on the car
Door trigger input(+): Violet = not wired in
Door trigger input(-): Green = Blue/white(-) Door trigger
12V Constant(+): Red = to the battery w/ fuse holder
Siren output: Brown(+) = Red(+) on siren

On the plug that the 451 connects to the Arrow are a red, green and blue. Take the green from there and do as sparkie advises, you wont need any more relays.

I'm back after a few setbacks with other projects. I was upgrading my fuel injectors and fuel system.
I appreciate the advice, but I'm still confused..maybe more confused than I had been.
Off the 3 pin harness on the 451 I split the green with a diode(facing the alarm)on each split. One of those goes directly to my factory disarm GREEN/ black(-). Does the other split wire then go to the violet/black fused?
Obviously I'm not sure what to do with the 5 wires coming off the 451
WHITE/ Black = ?
BROWN / Black = ?
GREEN/ Black = ? (I assume to green on 524 actuator)
Blue/Black = ? (I assume to blue on 524 actuator)
PURPLE / Black fused = ? (to split green from 3wire)
