Has anyone ever added drivers door priority to a remote start that does not have a 2nd door unlock. I have a customer that requested it after the install was completed and I dont want to remove the system and install a new one. I have used the trunk output and dont have any additional channels avalible.

the only option i see around this is if the alarm has an aux output that is not in use.  than you can hook that up to the unlock wire of the car.  and for the unlock wire of the alarm you can 5 wire it to the driver's door motorleg.  that way when they push unlock on the remote it will unlock the drives door and disarm the alarm.  and they will have to push the aux button  to open remaining doors..

what unit are we talkin about and car?. most units on the market come with driver priority (-) outputs. the unit if new should have that feature embedded. if you dont, i guess using the aux is best bet, but also some cars unlock drivers door/diarms with 1 pulse and will open others wih double pulse.
