2004 ford explorer door wiring

How do you wire the door locks for a 2004 Ford Explorer NBX?!?!

I've had a couple diagrams given to me, but none have worked thus far.

Do you have to wake up the GEM? I've read that you don't because it never sleeps.

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

What's NBX?

It should be just straight (-) switched wires - what kind of alarm are you using, and what wires have you attempted to hook up to? The ones you need will be pink / YELLOW(lock) and pink/green(unlock) in the driver's kick panel. 

I will have to ask my Husband for answers to the questions you've asked since he's the one actually doing it. I know nothing about it, just that it's being a pain in the @$$! In any case, it's a Black Widow Alarm.

NBX is the "edition" of Explorer it is... instead of XLT or Eddie Bauer under the Explorer emblem it says NBX. From what I understand, it's like the Offroad Sport edition... it has "sporty" seats black with some grey checkers design (look kinda like racing seats) and then a carbon fiber dash... I believe that's the name of it... it also has a design on the dash that matches the seat design. My husband could probably explain better.

Do you know if the GEM sleeps... I think this was his biggest question.

The answer to the biggest question is...I'm not positive.  There's a way to test it, however it wouldn't be the first thing I'd focus on unless the doorlocks were already working properly, from the Black Widow's remotes, when a door is open.  If that's not the case then the lock and unlock wires are hooked up incorrectly - they should work directly from that alarm's lock/unlock outputs.

If they work initially and stop after a while there are 2 ways to wake the BCM up. One is opening the driver's door, another is turning on the ignition.  If you can post the model number of Black Widow I'll find the manual and tell you how to do that.
