99 audi a4, door locks

Did these cars have Vacuum Door locks? Im trying to rememeber and arguing with someone here. I could have swore i remember it having vacuum door locks. Could have been a 98 as well. anyone know for sure?

yeah i saw that. But you know with vacuum door locks. it needs to see like 2.5 seconds of ground to lock. Just was trying to remember if the 98-99 audio a4 had vacuum locks.

Astro is very acurate on their tech. All of the Astro units can be programmed for a long pulse... there is nothing mentioned.

They will always tell a guy to reprogram the lock pulses.

Yeah my tech sheet doesn't mention it also. But i talked to one of my tech guys. He was telling me we saw those cars in 92-93 times. With old mercedes and VW's. Sall good. thought it was sometime in the 90's. lol

negitive pulse for lock and it said double pulse for unlock on Audiovox site and for window roll up hold lock wire to ground probably latched for 30 seconds would do it.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

Low current neg control only need 1 sec. driver's kick panel on a connector block can't remember the colours, doesn't matter, follow loom from door entry, extend lock pulse to close windows, roof on cabriolet. They stopped using Vacuum when the Mk IV Golf/Jetta came out.
