Had a customer call me tonight telling me that the OEM security went off on his Toyota Tundra Crew Max and now it won't unlock the vehicle, even with the key in the door cylinder. Here's what I know so far ( I won't be getting to the vehicle until tomorrow morning ):
- alarm was set off
- Compustar 1WSH-PRO system installed with door locks set to double pulse unlock
- Compustar remote will not respond - locked out -
- LED on antenna not blinking
- VALET mode - not working ( Compustar remote not responsive )
- the BLACK headed key will not unlock the doors ( double turned on the driver's door handle - unresponsive )
- system was installed over 2 months ago without problems
This is what the customer tells me so far. Until I know more tomorrow, I won't be able to have anymore information on this. I just wanted to know if anyone else has locked out a new Toyota and what do I need to do to get back into the vehicle ?
ANY HELP would be appreciated !

wow... sounds like u got yourself a real winner....... okay.. this is how i would approach that one....

first off... did your shop do the job???? if not... run... run real fast....lmao

next...... if u did.. man up to it....there are two possibilities... i have heard from some locksmith buddies of mine that lexus used to have a lock out feature similar on the ls400 way back.... if u triggered the factory alarm.. u basically gotta pick the locks or just flat out break in....

once inside the car... pop the hood and disconnect the battery...next up.... completely disconnect power to the system..........the compustar that is...

reconnect power to the cars battery..... if your car is still goin haywire.. u got a real problem..... check the ground of the unit to the car... if not good... i mean if not reading very low resistence... disconnect..... lemme know if this helps any......

there can be only one.......
