I have not worked on a newer chevy that did not need a bypass module, and to save the trouble get one anyways. I'd recommend the XK05 from bypasskit.com, or a retailer you can get a bypass from locally. I prefer to use bypass modules that dont require the "donation" of the key (universal bypass)like the directed 556UW module. As far as the power locks go, if the car did not come with the factory option included for power locks the only way you can add them is by adding 2 wire door lock actuators inside the doors. Then you can wire the actuators in the doors with a few relays ( or a 451m lock interface if you are installing a DEI product) to your r/s-keyless brain. There are tons of diagrams for this on the main page of the12volt.com, and for adding actuators also, but if you need anymore help post back or pm me.
Cheers

The Aveo is a Korean Daewoo, and does not have a transponder. No bypass needed.
You could install power doorlock actuators inside the doors. Actuators are fairly cheap (maybe $5-15 each, depending on where you buy), but are labor-intensive to install.
