I have a 50.5x Clifford alarm and I have done a test with a quality meter and my - 200 ma trigger output to drive a relay is not working.

It is for the domelight supervison and I thought I had it hooked up wrong but when I used the -200 ma output for the trunk relay it worked and the relay clicked..

I disconected the cable and tested at the prong and there was no output.

I am asumming that this is something in the box that has gone bad and is there a way to fix it?

If you remove the relay from the circuit and use a volt meter to check and see if you have output, does it? You have to remove the relay from the circuit. If it does have output with no relay attached, Read This. If it does not show any output with a meter you will have to take the brain apart and trace from the pin that has no output, to the next component in the path. I am not familiar with the new Clifford alarms. It may go to a transistor or to an integrated circuit (chip). If it goes to a transistor it is more than likely defective, it should be the same type of transistor as the one on the other output that still works. You can get a number off of that one, if the one that is bad has been defaced by the failure. Let me know what you find out.

If I remove the relay from the circuit it does not show any power like the other ma outputs, trunk, etc.

The brain is way up tucked away nice and tight and when I get some time I will check it out.

I would assume if it is a chip I am screwed, if it's a transistor them as you said I could probably find the same type by looking at the other one, or more and replace it by sodering it in.

On the earlier G4 Cliffords, if one aux went they all went driven then by a transistor, surely you should be using the BLACK/ white wires one to ground and one to the domelight to achieve domelight delay.
