Hello,
I have recently gone to a Clifford store in NYC to install 50.5X security system. I don't live in NYC anymore and cannot go there to ask a question.
The system is very sensitive to shock and whenever a track drives by my car, the alarm goes off. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the system so it does not wake up people at 2 a.m. in the morning?
Thank you for your help.

Do you have an owners manual?

Maybe an install manual.  There are several manual listed in the download section on this site. I don't know ANYTHING about cliffy tard. but give a look

and see if there is a shock sensor set up like yours....maybe you can finger it out?

I've checked the manual and I haven't been able to find anything.

User, or install? If you have the install guide I guarantee it's there.

Look in the download section at some of the clifford install guides......  as I stated above, maybe some others are the same as yours.

Just look for the section on adjusting the impact sensor.

In the manuals for the 50.5x it does not offer a section on adjusting the shock sensor. You will need to locate where your installer placed your shock sensor first.Once you do that it will have a dial on it that you can turn either clockwise or counter clockwise. You will want to turn the dial counter clockwise to decrease the sensitivity.Turn it a little, close your door, then arm your system, wait about 10-15 seconds, then tap on your vehicle to see if it's to your liking.Lighter strikes will give a warning while harder strikes will instantly set it off.
