Just trying to put an alarm on my 05 Colorado, just got it.  I have a code system.  I've installed a few of these before but i am very rusty.

I've read about bypass modules and diodes...what exactly do I need to bypass and why and can I just use one diode per latch?  thanks

well I am not good at reading codes!  By that I mean everyone has a good start on their alarms but I need to know step by step if anyone could help.

I want to use the factory transmitters, with a code 425 this is possible right?

I found the door triggers and I think I need to diode isolate the passenger doors from the driver door right?

I am just running a simple alarm, the remote start looks too complicated for me, or is it?

I don' t know what Passlock is, do I need to worry about it?  I will be getting my 12 volt constant from the ignition harness, should I go strait to the battery?

thanks!!

GO HERE and find a installer in your area. Get it installed by a professional, and by someone that warranties their work. I'm not doubting you abilities at all, but you might be a bit too rusty to take this on alone.2005 chevy colorado, alarm -- posted image.
