I have a 2006 dodge ram sport I just installed a compustar 2w900fma alarm I hooked up the door triggers using 1 amp diodes on each trigger wire line on diode facing away from brain after doom lite goes out 30 sec later alarm goes off so I hooked up my meter and found that after the doom lite goes out and 30 sec later the door triggers get 11.35 volts ( or neg ) this is what sets it off I have tried to get the alarm to go into 90sec delay mode but compustar says open door lock with remote unlock w/ remote lock w/ remote turn on ign then off every step with in 2 sec from each only thing is alarm will not lock / unlock with in 2 sec any suggestions on what I can do other than leave door triggers off?

If you have the diodes correctly placed and gott he correct door triggers you should not have to worry about the 30 sec delay.

;the problem is it goes back to neg 30 sec after doom light goes out (useing a multimeter 12v on red neg to door trigger 12v when door is open dropes to about 5v when closed then after doom light goes out 30sec later 11.5v used purple driver door for this test )no matter what I do and sents a signal that door was triped but I just figued it out I just used the pos door trigger from alarm and hooked it up to the doom light works on all doors does not set off alarm and found out I have the new version of brain were the 90 sec door trigger delay is option 1-11 got that to work everything is good now thanks for the input.

On that particular truck you can go directly at the cluster for al the door triggers of you have to go directly to each of the door grommet leading inside of the car. Then diodes each door cutting in between the bcm and the actual door trigger.

LF door is purple

RF door is purple white

LR door is PURPLE / orange

RR door is tan / YELLOW

Looks like you might be using the actual domelite trigger that is why you are having problems. Use the wires I listed and you should be good to go.

Also there is a total of 8 diodes not 4.

;these are the wire I used at the cluster but I  only use 4 diode I did not know I had the use 8 that might be why! This is good info thanks but it working fine with pos door trigger @ doom light works on all doors alarm goes off when door is open and the big thing is It does not go off 2 min after I set it!!

P.S. how do you hook up neg trigger using 8 diodes just in case I start having problems with the way I have it hooked up now

If you already wired up the 4 diodes between each door than the other 4 you will parallel all 4 going into the alarm system but make shure you tap the door switch side not the bcm side.

if you tap the pos door than you have the delay door chip. I don't work with compustar so I don't know how the system works. If you followed and tested your wires correctly than you don't need to use the pos domelite wire and plus too sometimes if you use the domelite as a trigger you will have falsing problems when the bcm shuts down.
