viper 791xv door lock/unlock

Hi I've got a Viper 791xv installed for a year now and just this weekend I added a 3rd party central locking. I connected the Green and Blue wire of the central locking to the green & blue wire from the alarm system and it wont lock/unlock the doors. I've tried putting it on negative or positive trigger. I can hear a noise on the central locking unit when I arm the system but it doesnt lock/unlock. The central locking works if you manually push the lock/unlock on the door. I've only powered the central locking on an external 12v car jumper to test if it works (manual operating of central locking works). It shouldnt make a difference if I connect it to the actual 12v (batt source) and car's earth right? Do I have to program the remote? it should just unlock/lock when you press those buttons on the remote right? Hope to hear from you experts soon! Cheers

When you manually operated this central locking..... how did you lock, 12v or ground. then, how did you unlock 12v or ground.

Im not sure by that, I just connected the +ve & -ve wire to a 12v source jumper (black & red aligator) and its 4 pins behind the central locking "brain" unit Lock/Unlock Positive trigger on top and Lock/Unlock Negative trigger on the bottom pins. I tried different combinations to connect the Green and Blue coming from the Viper unit

Do you have any reason to be certain that blue and green on the central locking are the switched wires? Most every central locking system I've ever seen has blue and green motor leads. If you've connected your 791's output wires to those, disconnect them immediately before you use the remote or turn on the ignition. The 791s outputs are only designed to activate relays, and could directly short if connected to motor leads. C Renner's Auto Electronix

the blue & green wire 791 output goes to the remote control plug of the brain of the central locking kit 1 plug connects all the wire from the actuators and one plug is for the remote control unit its got 4 pins ----- 1 3 2 4 ----- Positive Trigger 1. +Lock Input 2. +Unlock Input Negative Trigger 3. -Lock Input 4. -Unlock Input

Ah OK, your last post makes sense. I've installed Audiovox power doorlock kits, and their wire colors are different, but they have those same wires you're talking about. There shouldn't be anything more to program on the Viper's remote, as long as the Viper system already works correctly. What happens if you just connect a jumper wire from #3 or #4 that you have listed above, and jump it to ground for a moment? That should make the doors lock or unlock, as long as the doorlock kit is working correctly.

I've connected the power and & ground wire of the central locking kit to the car and it now makes that actuating noise on lock and unlock but doesnt move the lock/unlock on the door. I can manually push the lock/unlock and the central locking will work. but not with the remote.
