I have installed an Hornet 563T with remote start in my 04 Impala and it has worked great. Well I recently had to change my car battery and now the remote start doesnt work anymore. Does anyone know how to reset the alarm so my remote start works again?

Does the keyless entry and alarm portion still work?
If the alarm works, but not the remote starter, could be one of two things:
1. On/off control switch under the dash. Switch was turned of to disable remote starter, and forgot to turn it back on again after battery replacement.
2. Hood pin switch. Under the hood is a pinswitch, to disable the remote starter when the hood is opened. During battery installation, pinswitch accidentally got repositioned or damaged.
P.S. Many (most?) installers omit these two safety features. You may have only one of them installed, or neither.....but check for both.

Yes, the rest of the alarm still works, keyless entry, arming, valet, etc.

All I did was take out my old battery, and put a new one in.  When I had to remove one the battery cables before when I was installing my stereo system it did the same thing and I took it back to the installer and all they did was push some button in some type of sequence on the control module in the dash to reset it, and it worked fine again.  Well now that company went under and I was wondering if anyone knew that sequence so I can reset it again. The sequence is to push the button a certain number of times then hold it and wait for the light to blink a certain number of times I think. I dont know the exact sequence and I was wondering if anyone knows it!!!
