A friend of mine has a 2005 Dodge Magnum that he wants me to install a clifford intelliguard 750, intellistart & smart windows on. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how difficult it is to install an alarm, remote start on this vehicle. I have installed several alarms on different cars before, but have never done any chrysler/dodge vehicles. And from looking at the wiring diagram for this vehicle, i see that you have to use alot of relays and resistors. Any help, opinions or comments would be appreciated.

its not a hard car if you used an xk532 made by www.xpresskit.com other wise these car have a wire thats known as a MUX wire that is a single wire that has two functions one is acc and second starter wire tru a resistance door locks also have a resistance other than that is a straight fowerd car. grab your 12volts from the batt or somewhere els beside the ing harness that is a low current

I installed the alarm, remote start & xk532 interface module just as the instructions told me to & now I'm having trouble programming the xk532 interface module to get the door locks & remote start to work with the alarm. Please help me!!

One more thing, do i still use resistors for the door locks being that i have this interface or does the interface learn the resistance values?

parking lights are positive (+) at passenger kick panel don't bother with the resistors you do not need the resistors for the door locks

i got the parking lights to work from the positive output in the pass. kick panel, but i'm still having trouble with the xk532 interface module.

The light comes on when i plug in the harness, but it's not programming at all. Do i cut the mux PURPLE / brown wire or just tap into it with the violet wire from the xk532 interface?
