Trying to bypass the clutch on an 06 xB with an audiovox aps997, I followed online instructions but it isn't working right. On the relay, 86 goes to 12 volt, 87 and 30 are spliced to the 2 clutch wires, and 85 is I guess where I am having trouble, I have it set to my alarm's wire that is for "Ground Output During Start", but it isn't cranking. Lights come on during R/S sequence but then it cuts off.
When I press down on the clutch and try R/S, lights come on, it tries to crank for like 1 second and then just cuts off before it fully cranks.
Any thoughts? The manual for my alarm is here http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productid=14996&langId=-1

we can't give you information on how to bypass clutches for remote starts, unless you're using an actual  safety module to bypass the clutch!  read the forum rules.  Sorry!

Slightly odd since when I search for "clutch bypass" there are 126 results of people telling others how to do it for their vehicle, but whatever....
In that case, still any ideas why the car only cranks for 1 sec and cuts off before it fully cranks?

use a 689 for that car...the aps997 as far as I know is not made for manual transmissions...Get the DEI 689 and it will also do the clutch bypass through the module itself.
