hello there, searched hi and low for a fix but cant find one, ok i have a concept 600 in my car, i only had the 4 button carbon remote which works fine, i purchased a 5 button (one on the side) master remote and am trying to add it. the problem is with the remote, after putting in new battery ,which ever button i press the light on the fob just flashes, where as it should stay lit whilst holding any button. if i hold side button then another it flashes faster, i had this once before with another master and just randomly pressed them all and it started working correctly. problem is whilst its like this the alarm cant see it when in adding mode. does any one know what i can do or is there a sequence i need to do with the remote?? this is really frustrating, any help GLADLY appriciated. thanks

The light is NOT supposed to stay solid while you hold down a button. It is supposed to flash.

When you hit the shift key, and than one of the 4 face buttons, the light now flashes twice as fast, indicating that you are now up one level on channels 5-8.

When you hit the shift key TWICE, and then one of the 4 face buttons, the light now flashes 3 times as fast, indicating that you are now up two levels on channels 9-12.

When you hit the shift key 3 times, and then one of the face buttons, the light now flashes 4 times as fast, indicating that you are now up 3 levels on channels 13-16.

If you cannot reach the last level, then you have purchased a G3 remote and you need a G4 remote. Check the ID number to see if this is the case.

Yes it's a UK spec remote from a G2 or 3 and  IS NOT compatible with a G4 alarm. That apart Omar is correct.
