My car came equipped with progressive locks from the factory.  I have the car wired with a 5701.  I do not know where to add the progressive lock wire as i cannot find it.  Can someone help?  Also for the trunk light trigger, the only thing I can find in the forums is the GREEN/ orange wire in the trunk light?  Is there a wire inside the cabin somewhere that I can tap this into, or do i really have to runa a wire to the trunk?

Thanks,

John

Presumably yes you have to run a wire into the trunk unless the car's got a factory alarm or a trunk ajar indicator in the dash - it's not particularly hard to do.
For progressive unlock - the blue (-) unlock, (+) lock wire will need to be connected to a relay which will work the driver's unlock motor directly. The lt. blue 2nd unlock would go to the (-) unlock wire from the switch. The relay should be wired as follows:
85: blue wire from 5701
86, 87: 12 volt constant fused
87a: switched side of cut driver's unlock motor lead
30: motor side of cut driver's unlock motor lead
C Renner's Auto Electronix
My service is cheap, quick, and good - pick any two
