I have a 2000 Chrysler Voyager with an Auto Mate AM2 keyless entry system. I have purchased a second transmitter for it and need to know how to add it to the system.

The install guide is here: Automate AM2

Instructions are on page 13.

Thanks, Big Dog! This worked perfectly to get my second transmitter working. But when I tried to program some of the other options, I found that there are only 11 options available rather than the 15 shown in the AutoMate AM2 manual. So, now I'm wondering which model I actually have. It's installed in a 2000 Chrysler Voyager, so it may not be their latest model. The transmitters are AutoMate 476a.

Then it might not be an AM2.

See if tou can read a model number from the unit in the dash. If you don't see a model number, write down the FCC ID number.

I'll also need the date code written in this format OK/7A on a rectangular sticker. If there is no rectangular sticker then there might be two dials with arrows pointing to the month and year.
