accord tach wire

does anyone know where the tach wire is on 2003 accord 6 speed? The reference guide i have says a blue/red wire pin 23 a grey connector at the ECM. on my ECM in the grey connector pin 23 is blank. i have a blue/red in pin 30 would this be correct? How can i test to see?

There is a LARGE brown connector with several smaller plugs in it to the left of the stearing column.

You have the color correct!

blue/red or blue at the ECM/PCM is on the front of the transmission tunnel. The connectors are on the passenger side. On the 4 cylinder models the tach wire is in the white 31 pin connector E, pin 25. On the 6 cylinder models it is in the gray connector A, pin 23. Can also go to any ignition coil and use the wire that is NOT BLACK/ white or black. Can also go to any fuel injector and use the wire that is NOT yellow/black.
