hello, I tried searching for a answer, but seemed to have no luck.

we have the audiovox pirsuit pro 9232a in our 2005 tundra double cab.  the driver side door will no longer unlock/lock when we use the remote transmitter, or when we hit the door lock button on the doors arm rest.  The three other doors will still lock/unlock just fine.  when we hit the unlock button on the door, you can see the driver door trying to unlock.  it moves just a little, its like it is stuck.  any ideas?  audiovox tech said it may need a new actuator in the door, or maybe a bad connection all of a sudden?

thank you

I would agree with the Audiovox tech. Take the door apart and check the actuator's linkage to make sure it can move back and forth. Use a volt meter set to DC voltage and place the probes on the 2 wires for the actuator. If you get 12 volts when you try and activate the lock switch both ways, the actuator is bad or may have a bad connection to the wires.
