I recently used a Document 1076 That believe was not for my car, as I downloaded another Document 1076 fromt this site also, and its not the same. Cany anybody pleas tell me which 1076 Document I Should use

The 1076 I used to wire my door was this one:

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/uploads/Tech_Tips_1076_Door_Trigger_Isolation.pdf

I used diagram A, to hookup th door triggers.

The one I found tonight, was one I searcded directly under "Downloads", once I was registered.

LInk:

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/downloads.asp?srch=all&term=1076

Which one is right for 2003 Toyota Celica GT

As far as I'm aware the BCM on the Celica does not shut down so you don't need to follow the 1076 diagram
Left door: red x1 silver hoop
Right door: RED / yellow x1 silver hoop
Boot: pale green x2 silver hoops
All wires (neg) found in centre console

I've always just used the domelight wire, with no problems.
Under the driver's side dash, off toward the left.......there's plenty of space there, and you should be easily able to see a small harness that runs upward from the kick panel, up toward the roof piller. I think the domelight is RED / white in that harness.

Thank you so much guys, I was pulling my hair trying to figure that one out

I was also trying to probe out the door locks to identify which door lock type i have(3 wire negative, 3 wire positive, etc) But I am not getting the voltages(my are 6 volts and 1.5 volts) that I should be getting(12 volts, ground when I press Ulock button, etc)

Can anyboyd tell me what type of door Lock system I have?

Thank you advance

The door locks are 3 wire negative - but you have to use the wires from the key cylinder, not the lock switch on the door.

1076 not needed, its a far simplerand reliable system, also door contact wire goes to fusebox, or lock relay, best bet is to pickup behind inst panel if you have a door open warning light.N.B. On Euro versions, there's a lock button in the centre console, go there if US version is the same, also in UK fusebox is in centre console under radio and heater controls, there's a white (Factory) alarm plug you can join to, door contacts locks, indicators, ign etc. Not sure if US version of that year has the same wiring set-up, here we go again Chris.
