O.K. heres the story I installed a CA420 remote start into the 2002 Sebring convertible everything seems fine. Now the customer is calling me stating that the vehicle stalls out when she tries to start the car with the factory key? We had the dealership make us a new key for the bypass. Any ideas?

Used the Universal bypass. The vehicle shuts down when the OEM key is being used. Customer isn't using the remote start. Yet the vehicle shuts down?

With the bypass powered up all the time, it is seeing 2 keys when starting with key.  If the customer can not get the car back to you right away, tell them to remote start it only, then put the key in.  If they attempt too many times it could trigger the anti-theft system.  If that happens the system will have to be reset.  It only looks for the key at startup.  So once it starts and they put the key in, it only sees the one in the bypass, so the car will run fine.
