just installed ungo sr 6000 everything works fine but when i arm the alarm once the interior light goes out the remote start will not start the engine. It will turn over but it just stops. I have decided that it is the factory alarm but I cannot seem to disarm If i turn the sr 6000 alarm off then it works again. Don't know if maybe the imobilizer is not sending a signal to the alarm once armed. is there a way to completely deactivate the oem alarm? Thanks!

the vehicle is a 2001 gmc sierra hd. with the newwer body style engine is 6.6 diesel
